IJsselsteinloop, sponsor & production
The IJsselsteinloop is an annual running event in IJsselstein with over 3,500 participants and more than 10,000 visitors across the day. For the past two editions we have provided the full sound and announcements, as technical partner and sponsor.
Our production van is positioned centrally on the square. From there, our sound carries across the entire site, from the start and finish to the stage. We provide wireless microphones, so the announcer can move around freely and be understood everywhere: guiding runners at the finish just as well as announcing the award ceremony on stage.
Arūnas first joined this run as a volunteer, well over five years ago. These days we provide the full sound as technical partner, and sponsor the event as well. Every year we are back.
With a limited crew, working efficiently is essential. On the morning itself, everything has to be up in about two and a half hours, before the first runners arrive. That is why we work to a tight plan: everyone knows what needs to happen, and if something goes differently than expected, we know right away how best to keep things moving.
Arūnas started here as a volunteer. More than five years on we handle all the sound and we sponsor the event.
